WOW, I wish I had a dime for every time someone asked me advice on the best way to transition into a new position.
It is definitely within the top five questions I am asked. Well, I am going to share my tips with you for making a seamless transition:
Great leaders have a real sense of self.
They tune into the needs of others. You might say “I see lots of leaders that don’t possess either of those traits.” I would say that they are not leaders. They may manage people. They may be responsible for work. However, I don’t consider them leaders.
“Coaching is more about the client doing the work and the discovery to come up with their own answers.”
There is a great deal of difference between working hard and working smart, specifically when it comes to management.
